The dining room has a zone audio visual system. Press a button on the keypad: radio, CD's, DVDs, Sky and Freeview can all be heard and seen from the screen, and sound also comes through 6 inch in-ceiling speakers.
This project has a lighting control system. Sensors in the main walkways operate the lights only when someone is present, but manual override buttons are also located in each hallway. Outside the front door a sensor activates the door bell and front entry lights, so the occupants know when visitors are waiting at the door. The alarm also interacts with the lighting system by turning on the lights if there is a fire alarm activation or intruder alert.
The system has timers and schedules operating various lights and the heating system.
A phone and data system has been installed for routing phone and data signals over the house.
The dining room and master bedroom are in different zones, but they can view the same things or different things onscreen.
